Los Vientos Substation Modification, Lyford, TX.
November 2012 - February 2013.
The project involves modifications to both the Los Vientos I and Los Vientos II (a.k.a. Los Vientos 1A & 1B) Substations which are both 138/34.5kV – 211MVA wind farm collector substations with tubular aluminum high side bus and open air (8) feeder bus low side. The modification involves the addition of (24) CLIP units and (24) Regulators at each substation.

Opportunity Substation, Moorhead, MN.
October 2012 - March 2013.
The Opportunity Substation is a 115/12.47kV – 25MVA municipal substation with a tubular aluminum high side loop bus and indoor metal clad switchgear low side. Paradigm is the project prime contractor using subcontractors for site development, foundations and fencing.

Garfield Substation, Pierre, SD.
October 2012 - July 2013.
The Garfield Substation is a 115/12.47kV – 30MVA municipal substation with a tubular aluminum high side loop bus and indoor metal clad switchgear low side. Paradigm is the project prime contractor and is self-performing all aspects of the project except site development and fencing.

Lakeswind Collector Substation, Hawley, MN.
October 2013 – December 2013.
Lakeswind is a 115/34.5kV – 55MVA wind farm collector substation with a cable high side bus and a two feeder tubular aluminum low side bus.

Lakeswind Collection System, Hawley, MN.
October 2013 – December 2013.
This collection system consisted of 35kV underground cable connecting 32 GE ESS 1.6MW wind turbines on spread foundations to the Lakeswind Collector Substation. The underground cable, transformers, & sectionalizers were installed by Gulbranson Excavating. Paradigm installed all cable splices, terminations, & ground points. We also installed and terminated the 690V cable between the towers and GSUs as well as the tower foundation conduits and grounding.

Lakeswind Transmission Line, Pelican Rapids, MN.
October 2013 – December 2013.
This line consisted of approximately 9 miles of 115kV, steel mono-pole with laminate angle structures, single circuit 336 ACSR with 24 fiber OPGW which connects the Lakeswind Collector Substation to the Great River Energy Tamarack Substation. Vienna II Collection System, Beaman, IA.
October 2013 – November 2013.
This was an addition to the existing Vienna wind farm collection system and consisted of 35kV underground cable connecting 19 Siemens 2.3MW wind turbines on spread foundations to the Vienna Collector Substation. The underground cable, transformers, & sectionalizers were installed by Gulbranson Excavating & Holland Excavating. Paradigm installed all cable splices, terminations, & ground points. We also installed and terminated the 690V cable between the towers and GSUs as well as the tower foundation conduits and grounding.

Pioneer Generation Station Phase 1, Williston, ND.
March 2013 – September 2013.
The Pioneer Generation Station was a gas turbine electrical generating plant which contained three 71.2 MVA GE gas turbines which feed into a 115kV transmission line via three 115/13.8kV - 75MVA GSU transformers. In phase 1, we installed the tie-in to the 115kV line, the control cabling & building electrical for the plant, and installed the grounding & lightning protection for the first turbine and Power Control Module (PCM).

Lonesome Creek Generation Station Phase 1, Alexander, ND.
April 2013 – November 2013.
