Cimarron II Substation, Cimarron, KS. 
December 2011 - March 2012.
Cimarron II was a 345/34.5kV – 180MVA wind farm collector substation with tubular aluminum high side bus and open air (6) feeder bus low side. Our scope included the complete substation project and we hired subcontractors for the foundations and fence.

Buckner Switchyard, Cimarron, KS.
November 2011 - March 2012.
The Buckner Switchyard was a very large 345kV (8) breaker yard with a 5” schedule 80 tubular aluminum bus and incorporated a reactive load balancing system. Our scope included the complete switchyard project minus the site development. We subcontracted half of the foundation work and all of the fence.

Industrial Substation, Orange City, IA. 
August 2011 - November 2011.
The Industrial Substation is a 69/12.47kV – 70MVA municipal substation with high side loop and metal clad indoor switchgear. It requires building a short section of transmission line through the City’s industrial park area to tie into the existing transmission loop. Paradigm performed all aspects of the project using subcontractors for site development and fencing.

City of Orange City – Owner.

Rockland Substation, American Falls, ID.
July 2011 - September 2011.
This is a 138/34.5kV – 85MVA wind farm collection substation with open air high & low sides. Wanzek provided site development and a driller for the pier foundations. Paradigm provided concrete work and all other work to complete the project minus the high side bus work which was done by the owner.

Pocahontas Prairie Substation, Palmer, IA.
August 2011 - October 2011.
Pocahontas is a 161/34.5kV – 51MVA wind farm collection substation built adjacent to and tied into the existing Pomeroy Substation. It is an open air high side and indoor metal clad lowside switchgear configuration. Site work and foundations were provided by Mortenson.

Elk Wind Substation, Greeley, IA.
June 2011 - August 2011.
Elk Wind is a 69/34.5kV – 30MVA open air wind farm collector substation which tied into the existing ajoining MEC substation. Site work and foundations were provided by Mortenson. All other work was provided by Paradigm.

Wildorado Switchyard & Substation, Wildorado, TX. 
March 2011 - May 2011.
This project combined a 230/34.5kV – 100MVA substation and a 230kV loop switchyard. The substation was an open air high side with an indoor metal clad switchgear lowside. The switchyard required cutting a loop into the existing 230kV line to tie in. Wanzek provided the site development and Paradigm provided all other construction services. This was a very tight schedule and the project was completed in less than 90 days.

Taloga Substation, Putnam, OK. 
February 2011 - April 2011.
Taloga is a 138/34.5kV – 140MVA open air wind farm collection substation with a three stage capacitor bank. It was a new build with the tie-in provided by others. Wanzek provided site development and Paradigm provided all other aspects of the construction.
